Turkey Quilts For Thanksgiving
These quilts were made by Kindergarten students in Dianne Young's class in Visalia, CA. The quilt ties to a social studies unit for Thanksgiving and a math unit in counting..
For the Theme Square, children painted their handprint and the legs and feet of the turkey, let it dry, then added eyes and feathers (counted out) to complete the turkey.
The Geometic Square is the traditional Pinwheel pattern.
