Famous Faces Portraits
Now that all the shading is completed, the illustrations must be mounted. As pictured below, Mrs. Livinal cuts out each face and glues it to a black piece of construction paper. She then helps the students cut a doilie for George Washington's shirt collar which is mounted onto the black construction paper. She then helps the students visualize and then draw a pencil line to mark the proper placement of the shoulders on the black paper. The children then cut along this pencil mark.
